A visionary leader with over 20 years of retail banking experience.
He started his banking career in 2005 as outsourced staff in the Unsecured Lending Unit of Standard Chartered Bank and left as a Team lead.
In 2007, he moved to former Bank PHB (now Keystone Bank) as Head of Retail Banking and left as Branch Manager in 2018 to join Cititrust.
He pioneered the establishment of Cititrust Financial Services in 2018. He anchored the acquisition of First Option Microfinance Bank Limited which saw him become the pioneer Managing Director of the bank under the Cititrust ownership.
He later rose to the position of Group Managing Director of Cititrust Financial Services Limited (overseeing six subsidiaries of Cititrust including First Option MFB Ltd) a position he held until his exit from the group in 2020 to start off Loochi Companies.
He is a director with several institutions including Living Hands Foundation, First Option MFB Ltd, City Living Care Initiatives, Vinomak International Limited, etc.
He is a graduate of Industrial Chemistry from the University of Port Harcourt and also holds a master’s degree (service excellence) from the University of Wales UK. He is a trained relationship counselor and married with two wonderful children.
