Customer Service Representative
Responsibilities
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Generate sales leads
- Identify and assess members’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with members through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
- Handle member complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of member’s interactions, process membership accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers/members
- Prepare reports for different departments or upper management
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a customer service executive in a financial institution
- Experience in providing customer service support
- Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques
- Proficiency in English
- Conduct effective resource planning to maximize the productivity of resources (people, technology, etc.)
- Collect and analyze call-center statistics (sales rates, costs, customer service metrics, etc.)
- Working knowledge of customer service software, databases, and tools
- Awareness of the industry’s latest technology trends and applications
- Ability to think strategically and to lead
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
- Customer service orientation
- BS degree in Business Administration or related field
